Hello! Welcome to my page and thank you for being here.

My name is Brianna and I’m a licensed mental health counselor. I’ve been working in the mental health field for several years now as a helpline coordinator and more recently as a counselor. I first got my bachelor’s at the University of North Texas, and then set my sights overseas for my master’s. I received my master’s degree from Webster University in Geneva Switzerland.

During this time I had various internships that allowed me to work with clients of all backgrounds. During my training, I worked at charities, high schools, and universities. This allowed me to work with a wide range of issues including life transitions, depression, suicidal ideation, and LGBTQ+ issues.

My work as a counselor focuses a lot on the therapeutic relationship between me and my clients. As a person-centered therapist, I see the therapeutic relationship as a solid foundation for the healing process.

Naturally, I'll want to know what you're hoping to get out of therapy during our time together. This will give me the opportunity to create a treatment plan that works to meet your goals. Since I approach my work through an intersectional lens, I'd like to know more about the various identities you hold. I want to gain a deep understanding of each one of my clients’ sense of self.

Everyone should have a safe place to explore various aspects of themselves, and I'm here to provide it. BIPOC (Black Indigenous, people of color), and LGBTQ+ people have made up the majority of my clientele, though they are by no means the only ones.

In my free time I love to knit, crotchet, practice yoga, and read. I’m a huge fantasy nerd, with Game of thrones being my favorite fantasy world.
