Empower Your Healing Journey

Queer POC Affirming Therapy in Washington State

About Brianna Tante, LMHCA

As a queer counselor, I've discovered that working with clients requires getting to know them personally. I see the therapeutic relationship as a solid foundation for the healing process, so by doing this, I'm able to truly build that relationship between us. Naturally, I'll want to know what you're hoping to get out of therapy during our time together. This will cover anything that comes up during our time together, including but not limited to how specific issues are affecting your day-to-day life and what makes you feel heard and seen. Since I approach my work through an intersectional lens, I'd like to know more about the various identities you hold in order to gain a deeper understanding of your personal identity. Everyone should have a safe place to explore various aspects of themselves, and I'm here to provide it. POC (people of color), LGBTQ+, and people with disabilities have made up the majority of my clientele, though they are by no means the only ones.
